Advanced Grade 5, Round shan shui using a jade tray.

My biggest challenge so far, using the influence from my visit to Canyonlands National Park, Utah, USA.

Initial placement of rocks in the design.
The tray is 500mm in diameter, the rocks
are ironstone and came from a rockery
I demolished.

The first placement of trees, tamarisk and behind the tall rock a little pine of unknown variety which came from Anneke's Wentworth Falls garden.

Another week, another 6 trees and the start of placement of moss

There are now junipers, grasses, serissa and lonicera.............some pruning still to be done to get them into scale.
