Work in progress as I explore the Chinese art of penjing, did classes which got me interested enough to continue on my own. A trip to China to the gardens inspired me to achieve greater knowledge, and along with much reading and research I consider I am on my way to better trees.

2008 Beginnings
Friends gave me a gift certificate to a bonsai workshop for my birthday in 2007, in June 2008 Jane and I did the workshop. I had a bougainvillea put aside to become my first bonsai, here is how it developed.
